Pre Placement Vaccinations
Vaccinations may be a part of a pre-employment medical if a candidate will be required to travel overseas.
If a candidate is based at an overseas site, vaccinations can also be essential.
Make sure that you allow sufficient time to complete vaccination courses prior to travel. A minimum of 6 weeks is recommended.
Necessary vaccinations (including Yellow Fever) for all overseas locations and visa applications can be provided as part of a pre-employment medical assessment or travel medicine conducted by qualified travel nurses at Gemini Medical clinics.
Gemini Medical is readily able to provide vaccines and advise for the following conditions:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Diptheria
- Yellow Fever
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella
- Typhoid
- Meningitis A, C, W and Y
- Japenese Encephalitis
- Rabies
Gemini clinics have access to up-to-date registers of travel information and warnings so that your candidate is given the correct vaccinations for your designated site location.
