Chest X-ray
A Chest X-ray is a scan of the torso that can provide essential information to do with chest and lung health.
Once the chest x-ray is performed, a written report is then created after viewing the x-ray film.
The report explains if there are any abnormalities in this area, which may include pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, lung damage or excessive dust or foreign particle inhalation.
This can be especially important if a potential employee has a history of, or will be required to, work in underground mine sites, or if the candidate has been exposed to hazardous materials known to cause lung damage.
