Pre Placement Medicals - Risk Assessment

In order to assist an employer make an informed decision on a candidate’s suitability for a position, the Gemini medical practitioners will use a Risk Assessment approach to the pre placement medical.

Critical elements of this process include:

• Knowledge of the proposed worksite and occupation
• Detailed medical history
• Thorough physical examination
• Prudent judgment on final recommendations
• Information promptly given to the employer representatives

Medicals Cancellation Policy

Gemini Medical runs at full capacity for appointments. Hence anyone who does not attend an appoinment not only inconveniences the staff, but also stops someone else from being able to receive our services.

In recent times, the number of companies 'pre-booking' times and then not having any one utilise those appoinments has been increasing. Consequently Gemini Medical has had to implement a Cancellation  and non-attendance Policy.

As of March 1st 2007, any candidate who fails to attend will incur a $50 fee. This will be invoiced to their employer.

New Proof of Identity Process for Medicals

In order to provide our clients with accurate results and to assure them the medical service provided was done so for their specific candidate, Gemini Medical has just introduced a Proof of Identity process (May 2007). This will ensure that the candidate who visits our clinics is indeed the candidate that you wish to employ.
