Comprehensive Services   Gemini Medical offers a total injury management service designed to take injured workers through the process of diagnosis, treatment and return to work in a coordinated and structured way. Our primary aim is to assist the employee’s recovery so they can return to normal work duties as quickly as possible. Gemini Medical's injury management service begins at a preventative level.  Wherever relevant our medical staff visit worksites to establish an understanding of local worksite issues and build a rapport. We can also offer assistance in setting up first aid facilities and training. Should an incident occur, our doctors will provide an early and accurate diagnosis, arrange physical treatment and rehabilitation programs and attend to any psychological issues. Gemini is affiliated with a range of private hospitals and allied health providers to ensure the best possible treatment under our management as the primary care provider.

Optimising return to work 

We will also identify and document any work capacity and negotiate an early return to work, which may include identifying restricted or alternative duties with the employer and injured worker.

Gemini’s medical services apply to psychological events as well as physical trauma.

Open communication channels 

Prompt and open communication with the injured employee, employer and health professionals and other parties is facilitated by Gemini as a high priority.
