Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse - Wagin, WA

Gemini Medical is currently seeking a permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse to work in Wagin, Western Australia. Our Wagin Medical Centre, in the heart of the Great Southern, just 228 kms south east of Perth; provides exceptional service in the areas of Family Medicine, Pre-Employment Medicals and Occupational Health to the community and surroundings areas of Wagin.

With a fantastic remuneration package offered, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a diverse, supportive and challenging role with the provision of quality nursing care and excellent client service to the small rural community.

As Registered Nurse you will be working closely with a dedicated team, on a part-time roster to provide the exceptional delivery of Occupational Health and Family and Travel Medicine to the Wagin community and surrounding areas.

In addition to your current Nursing Board WA registration you should:

  • Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical skills & proficiency in the delivery of nursing care
  • Be capable in assisting the delivery of Occupational Health services
  • Be enthusiastic in assisting in the research and delivery of Health Promotion displays as and where directed.
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office - including Word & Excel
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise projects and meet deadlines in what can be a rapidly changing work environment
  • Be willing & flexible to undertake additional tasks as required
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Be approved by the Dept of Health & Human Services 
  • Be willing to work as part of a team and independently 
  • Rural/remote experience is an advantage
  • Experience in Pre-Employment Medicals, Audiogram, Spirometry and Drug/Alcohol screening will be highly regarded.
