Registered Nurse - Rosebery Tasmania

Gemini Medical Services – Rosebery is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse full time, to join our after hour’s team, working from the Rosebery Community Health Centre between 9.30pm and 7.30am. The 7 day roster is shared with each Registered Nurse working Monday to Sunday (one week on, one week off) 

Working as a solo practitioner with an onsite support assistant and a GP on-call, your primary role will be to provide patient triage, emergency and trauma management including assessment of acute medical illness. 

In addition but not limited to the role will include –

• Assistance with monitoring of stock levels and ordering, 
• Participation in training programs as required and working within the Department of Health and Human Services protocols
• Assistance with maintenance and cleaning of a wide range of equipment as required

Experience in an emergency department environment where the work performed frequently involved emergency and trauma management including assessment of acute medical illness is essential.

A current police clearance is applicable for all persons employed by Gemini medical.
