Southern Cross is a historical Western Australian town with the first major gold discovery in the Eastern Goldfields region made here.

Southern Cross is regarded as the last town on the edge of the Wheatbelt or the first town on the Eastern Goldfields. The Shire of Yilgarn of which Southern Cross is a part is made up of farming and mining communities of approximately 3000 people.

The town's resident GP provides the General Practice, after hours and emergency services to the town's fully serviced and staffed hospital.  Critical care patients can be flown out to Perth via RFDS.

 Remueration - 70% of all billings generated + car + accommodation (national travel arrangements will be made by Gemini)
