Rosebery is a mining town nestled 145 metres above sea level in the hills of western Tasmania some 305 km west of Hobart. It is home to the highest waterfalls in Tasmania and Mount Read 1588 ms high offering superb views across the town and down to Macquarie Harbour in the south. With Lake St Clair National Park and Cradle Mountain close by, you will have plenty to explore whilst on assignment in Rosebery

The Rosebery clinic has an excellent team of nurses and two permanent Doctors offering medical services to a broad range of patients from the local community and there is some Occupational Health work associated with the nearby mining operations. This clinic is the only one in town and visiting services are offered to neighbouring area Zeehan.
Clinic sessions run from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday - Friday and there is a shared on call 1:2
Remuneration - $1200 per day or 75% of total billings whichever is greater this is inclusive of on call allowances + $650 per weekend day on call (on call sessions are 24 hours) flights to and from the assignment + accommodation
