Visa Application

The Visa application can be made consecutively with the Sponsorship nomination but not before.

To be eligible for a visa the medical practitioner and his/her dependents must meet the following minimum in addition to completing the relevant forms:

• Health requirements - undertake a full medical including blood tests & chest Xrays. These can only be performed by a Panel Doctor.
• Character requirements - Section 501 of the Migration Act contains a character test to ensure that visa applicants and visa holders are of acceptable character.
